Day 4 Re-Uploaded

Apologies for the link to Day 4 being inactive, FileFront tends to stealth-delete my files every now and then. The high-res version has been re-uploaded, and the link in the original post should now work.

Diaries closed :(

Well, after this much inactivity I think its safe to say the Diaries are no more. I simply could not get FRAPS working and don't want to have to re-purchase. I've also lost most of my interest in Project Reality with the multitude of changes made in 0.6.

It simply isn't fun being a Squad Leader anymore.

So with that, I sincerely apologise if anyone was still hanging out for more, and do hope you've enjoyed watching the Diaries as much as I did making them.

Special thanks to all the awesome squad members for making the videos what they are - would be no point to them without you.

Diaries on hold

I installed FRAPS on my new PC and found it wasn't compatible with dual-core CPU's. So I uninstalled and re-installed the latest version, but now the program won't run at all. I've searched for hours on Google and found this is not an uncommon problem; it seems the only solution is to format and reinstall windows.

Sod that. Until I can find an alternative to FRAPS there won't be more diaries. I've tried GameCam retail but unfortunately it doesn't detect my Realtek onboard audio.

Day 4: Operation Ghost Train

Day 4, the Ghost Train round utilising BattleRecorder footage in synchronised split-screen, is now available for download in high resolution. Simply click the following image to be taken to the file. File is 252MB.

Seriously, the streaming version does no justice at all. Do yourself a favour and download this ;)

Day 8: Steel Thunder

Though Foxhound is comprised of elite specialists from a wide variety of fields, not every round is a complete and total victory. As Chinese, we head to the Storage Depot flag and spend the entirety of the round putting up an impeccably solid defence. Those who believe armour dominates on this map should think again as Foxhound puts this notion to the test, with superior infantry movement decimating the opposition's mechanised units. Highlights from this round include headshotting a tank gunner who thought the cupola was a better gun than the tank turret; and standing behind a tree with an armour shooting at me point blank whilst the rest of my squad plants mines behind it.

Apologies for the slightly out-of-sync audio in the first half, it fixes itself halfway through.

Day 7: Qwai River

A nice display of irony here as I express relief at the beginning of the round over the Attack Littlebird's absence from 64-Player Qwai, only to be mowed down at the end of the round by it's replacement Blackhawk. My top-secret rally point location is also now on display for everyone to see. I must find a new one that's as good. I'm also quite proud of the drive-by artillery call on Government Office, as we move in after to find the point deserted and capture it with ease.
